If you've never heard of the Luke AFB FamCamp, don't worry. You might have heard its more official name instead: Saguaro Skies FamCamp. This camping experience at Luke AFB just opened in late summer 2020, but it's already off to a great start.

Never been to a FamCamp on base? Luke AFB is here to welcome all first-time surfers with state-of-the-art sites and abundant services. Each spot is connected to 20/30/50 amps as well as sewage and water. They also offer on-site laundry facilities (free), showers, nearby dump stations and picnic tables.
Luke AFB RV Park is a great way to beat the cost of other vacation opportunities for a more comfortable, equally enjoyable and less expensive solution. If you do not have a current military ID or visitor card, you must call the Shaar Barak Visitor Center at 1 (623) 856-4991/4993 to purchase one.
For those of you who already have basic access, which is probably everyone reading this, you can call the number below to contact the team.
Currently, the nightly rate for one space is $30.00 and allows two adults and one minor. If you plan to have more than two adults in your car park, you must contact the office for permission or you may be charged. A maximum of two pets are allowed; As long as it also requires office verification. As with everything, these rates are subject to change.

Four of the campground's 61 campsites are ADA compliant/accessible. If you or a family member has a disability, this means you can still easily use Luke AFB FamCamp services! One of the visitor's favorite areas is the showers, which include designated handicap stalls with ample handrails and folding seats.
Accessible sites are currently at points 22, 23, 32 and 33. To park in one of these spaces, you must have a handicap placard or plate. If you park in one of these spaces without proper validation and it appears to be required, you may be asked to move.
